Addressing journalists in Kisumu today, M-Kopa Solar Chief Commercial Officer, Yesse Oenga said since February this year, M-Kopa has sold over 10,000 solar Television systems and is projecting to sell 60,000 solar TV systems by the end of the year. According to the Kenya Audience Research Foundation 2015 establishment data, TV only reaches 31percent of the Kenyan adult population on a daily basis; leaving 69 percent of adults in the 'dark' who either lack access to power or cannot afford a TV set.
