The airline, which is celebrating its second anniversary of its formation to six destinations in the country has seen tremendous increase in the number of passengers in the first year Lamu alone had 33,000 passengers with the second year recording 50,000 with a projection of 70,000 in its third year which the Managing director Willem Hondius says the market is positive hence the need to stabilize its key routes. He says this numbers are despite having the travel advisory restrictions which some countries have started to review a clear indication that the market is expected to grow as the tourism sector recovers which forms the main economic activity of Lamu County and signaling huge potential for growth in the future.
